Little Town Called Annecy
Hey guys!
A little throwback would not hurt right? so here we are taken back to one of my previous trips, Annecy. The little town with a population of around 51,000 people located in the northern tip of Lake Annecy in south-eastern France. It is considered as one of the oldest inhabited place in northern Alps. This town is famous for its river that is called The Thiou (it is the shortest river in France), in which it is also the symbol of Annecy. Previously it was the industrial route but now it has became the tourist attraction for the visitors.

Champ de Mars
Champ de Mars or Le Paquier is the lanscape located on the banks of Lake Annecy. It provides the best view of the town which is the Lake Annecy along with the mountains that surrounds the lake. People can enjoy the sun and the view, together with their friends and family to spend the day when the weather is appropriate. The pictures in this post were taken in March during the early spring time therefore I was lucky to see this town in its best weather as its temperature is in between 18 to 21 degree Celsius.
The beauty of Annecy
This town has it all, from Le Semnoz mountain in high ground until Lake Annecy in the lower ground of this city. Le Semnoz is the biggest climb in Annecy. Hikers will enjoy this mountain for its tracks and the view of the town and nature from the top of it.
The beauty of Lake Annecy shown through the picture above
This lake known as the third largest lake in France as well as the cleanest lake in Europe due to the strict environmental regulation that has been applied since 1960. The lake is also popular for its water sports such as swimming, canoeing, jet skiing, kayaking and many more.
The best view of all!
The view from the river, so classic.
This city has lots of bars and cafe for those who like to hang out.
It is an awesome and wonderful place to spend time in.
Due to limited time in Annecy, it was impossible to explore all part of this town. Hence for those who would like to visit this pretty town, at least spend three full days to experience unforgettable occasions and extraordinary views of this medieval town.
Cheers,
Rona
