Warsaw an Alpha Global City
Hey Peeps!
It has been several months since my last post so I decided to post some compilation on the city that I visited during my winter vacation 2015. My first destination is Warsaw which is the capital city of Poland. Why is it called an Alpha Global City? the reason is that Warsaw is considered as the important node in the global economic system. Interesting enough! So as a tourist, probably one or two days in Warsaw is sufficient to explore at least the major tourist destination. In my opinion, the city itself is more metropolitan than I thought it would be. Hereby I present you with travel guidance to Warsaw!
The Sala Kongresowa. The translation of it is Congress Hall which consist of approximately 3000 seats theater. Some music performances are held in this place such as The Rolling Stones, King Crimson, etc.
The above picture is the Muzeum Fryderyka Chopina which is known as Chopin Museum. Chopin is a famous Polish composer and a pianist of the Romantic Era. So I was really excited to be here as he is one of my favorite composer who mostly wrote for solo piano.
The Royal Palace near the Old Town. This palace is full of art collection, it was originally the king's personal office as well as the Royal Court's administrative offices back in 16th century. It was destructed due to the invasion of Poland in 1939 and reconstructed again in 1945 after the end of the war.
