Madrid Baby!
Hi Guys!
Late post about our lovely trip to Madrid! So basically my friends and I decided to go to Madrid for only 3 days during the holiday week in February. Again it was kinda a sudden plan but oh well, it was really fun! We found this awesome deal from New Point Madrid Apartment which is located right in the centre of Madrid, it took only 3 minutes to Gran Via Avenue and Puerta del Sol.

Welcome to Madrid Chicas!!! <3
Look at our tired yet excited face XD
notes: sorry girls I need to post this pic :p
Yup we took the wrong metro twice...
Puerta del Sol
The evening went by pretty fast so we decided to just look around in the main street and to search for this popular chocolatier!
This is the best churros! Their specialty is their really thick chocolate dip sauce :9
Look at it ! B)
The first night we went to this restaurant called Lateral, they served such a mouth watering starter! We weren't really hungry that time since we had lots of snacks before including the churros :p The sirloin with brie cheese was sooo good!
This damn goodness XD
Our girls night out :)
Second day was a full day! We relaxed for some time in the terrace then we went to have brunch and explored the city then ended the day with fancy smanzy dinner with the gals and flawless flamenco!
This is how it looked like from the terrace in our apartment :D
Cafe and Tapas is the best for its brunch! the chicken tikka masala was really delicious!
And of course I didn't forget about the macchiato ;)
The best thing in Madrid is this place! San Miguel Market it is the heaven on earth~ all types of foods and drinks are served in this market
This is the humongous Almudena Cathedral, only one word... classy!
And of course we didn't forget to visit the Royal Palace of Madrid!
Frozen yoghurt is the best after exploring the whole city (read: exaggerating XD)
Lotsa pics from Parque del Retiro which is the famous park in Madrid!
One of the fancy restaurant with affordable price for student (compared to the Netherlands)
(really I'm not lying!)
Salmon with baked asparagus is heaven
The famous flamenco! their tap dance and music performance was amazing! Culture experience that shouldn't be missed :D
All in all, our trip was awesome and it was so much fun! And for you guys who enjoy reading my blog and also for those who need "Tips and tricks" for travelling, if you visit Madrid ->please do explore the whole city as well as visiting the Royal Palace, Almudena Cathedral and Puerta del Sol for the tourist destination. Additionally roam around the Gran Via Avenue for shopping and relaxing to get the most out of your travel to Madrid! And last but not least come to flamenco performance to feel the culture, I guarantee you won't regret it :D
Cheers,
Rona
