Longest Ride to Maastricht
Hey all!
Several weeks before I went home to Indonesia I visited my friends in Eindhoven and Rotterdam, who are also studying in the Netherlands. Since I had nothing to do, I decided to go directly to Maastricht from Rotterdam. I planned to meet up with Balsam there and just spent the day exploring Maastricht since we had never been to Maastricht before. I woke up early to catch the earliest train from Rotterdam anddd here we go! let the adventure begin!

Yup finally we arrived in Maastricht, it took around 4 freaking hours from Enschede haha :P
Then when we got there, we were welcomed by these great street orchestra, you can see the video below!
Afterwards we were just walking and walking, we got no clue at all where the centrum was but unplanned trips are the best :D
Finally we saw a glimpse of centrum while passing the bridge and took some shots of the boat.
Didn't really take a lot of pictures in the centrum but if I'm not mistaken these buildings are located in the Vrijthof square which is famous for its outdoor cafes. It is also encircled by lots of restaurants. So in my opinion, it is awesome to visit Maastricht during spring or summer ;)
I guess this is Saint Servatius Basilica...
And this is Saint John's Church!
After a while, we saw this cute chocolate shop named Chocolate Company Maastricht, they sell various kind of chocolate and yessss het was lekker! :9
mouth watering chocolate XD
Random pic of me and Balsam :D and don't forget to check her blog at http://www.albalsamlife.com/ !!!
And soooo that was it! For those of you who are wondering about your next destination in Netherlands, you should definitely put Maastricht on your list!
