Settling Down
August 22nd-25th, 2011
Monday, today Kelly was working. Me, Chris, and Dave were going to the high school, Port Angeles High School, to re-check all the things. I got six classes and I should move from one class to another. It's totally different with school in Indonesia, we will stay in the same class all day long except for PE and the teacher goes from one class to another class. We also have two breaks in one day and we use uniform, most of the subject is really serious and less fun subject. But in here it's only six subjects and we go home at 2:35 pm what a great one haha.
They took my picture and I got the ID, it's actually foto aib hahaha then off for lunch, for sometimes after I came here, it was pretty hard to finish one meal because every food is so big in here haha. Then walk the dog eva! she is really cute even though she is kinda stuborn hehe.

Evaaaaaaa!
On Tuesday, I skyped with mom and dad, so glad to see them again, I miss them so much mucho mucho, and my fear suddenly gone and just be ready for this year :D Then I bought card for my phone but yeah I just use the cheaper one so my bbm can't work, in Indonesia by 30 dollars I will have full service coverage of everything for two months, and in here oh my God, it's only work for small bytes of internet, call and message for one month, hmm nasib nasib...
Wednesday, went to Rotary meeting for the first time, and I found myself in their weekly bulletin, nice pict as I forgot to take picture when I arrived and met my host fam. Nice rotarian, really welcome and glad that I don't have to do my presentation in the first day there haha. Jeff Bohman, one of the rotarian, help me arrange the transportation for me to go the the meeting every wednesday, it's nice though that I will miss fourth period every wednesday ;)

Then off to Lake Crescent with Chris, it is a really nice lake, the water is really clear and blue surrounded by hundreds of trees, it is really natural and lots of fresh air. Then when we had a walk around the forest, I started to realized that Port Angeles and Forks are the place of 'Twilight'. Chris told me the story of it, but actually they filmed the movie in Canada where it is still similar to Port Angeles but cheaper to make a film there. And yeah.. they have twilight store in PA -_- but I don't really like it haha. That's why, Indah, my friend that went to Belgium, said "watch out for the vampire" and now I understand why hahahaha :p

Thursday, having girls day out with Kelly, after she went home from work, we went to dairy queen and had some ice cream, shared some stories from back home and showed her some pictures too, really nice to talk to her, glad that I have them for my host family :)
